Found this memorial while taking the Freedom Trail in Boston MA. It is a collection of dog tags from soldiers that have lost their lives in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. It is located in the Italian section of the Boston area. It was the first trip to Boston for Ash and me and we had no clue as to where we were going. We mastered the subway the first day...the hard way. Out of a 50-50 chance we took the train in the wrong direction that we figured out quickly but too late. That's why I don't play the lottery. I loved the subway, you could get anywhere in the city without having to drive which is totally different than where I live. In order to get anywhere, you have to drive which seems like all I do. We did manage to get around on those crazy roads to take our nightly sugar run to CVS and Walgreen's...love those Skor bars!
The weather was pretty lousy the entire time we were there which made the whole Bean-town experience a little less than desirable but we tried to make the most of it. We toured the Museum of Fine Arts, which was huge, and ate a $16 turkey sandwich. That was the price for one sandwich! It pained me to pay that price but my stomach was paining me a lot more. It's amazing what you'll do when your hungry. I'll try to post some more pics of the trip as I go through them.
